  • Rheged Visitor Centre - 1 mile west of Penrith
  • Many walks and rambles – such as that starting from nearby Dufton to High Cup Nick, with its outstanding views.

A small outdoor crag suitable for beginners’ climbing at Hoff about a mile beyond Appleby (Ask for our Activities Information Sheet for further details).
